I want my parakeets to have babies but i don't know how, i need some reliable information.

Before you start breeding you need to do a LOT more research. By research I don't mean asking on yahoo answers and taking the advise of a bunch of people who are probably just taking guesses.

I mean go to the librabry and borrow books on it, look up web sites, actually talk to some breeders in your area!

If you don't even know how to encourage your birds to breed you are obviously not ready for the responsiblity of breeding!

There are so many things that can go wrong, what if one of your birds or one of the babies dies, which can happen easily if you don't know what you are doing.. how are you going to feel knowing you cased this death?

What are you going to do with the birds you breed? Will you be able to find them all good homes?

Are you ready for the added food and nutrition requirement of breeding birds? The extra mess? The possibly expensive vet bills?

Go buy a nest for Parakeets and place it in the cage with some bedding in it. Then just leave them alone. They will get the idea sooner or later.
I raised them and they are so cute when they are babies.

You can either take them to a breeder, who does it for you, or you can have a nest in the cage and put a blanket or a sheet or something over the cage so they have a little privacy.
