why does she "knead" my stomach and legs when i'm petting her...it hurts!

Cats nead on you because they did that to their mothers. When they were just young kittens they got milk out of the mother like that. Also, they do it to make them feel more happy, better "memories". My cat does it tooo. Its normal!
