A friend is one who stands to share
Your every touch of grief and care
He comes by chance, but stays by choice
Your praises he is quick to voice
No grievous fault or passing whim
Can make an enemy of him
And though your need be great or small
His strength is yours throughout it all
No matter where your path may turn
Your welfare is his chief concern
No matter what your dream may be
He prays your triumph soon to see
There is no wish your tongue can tell
But what it is your friend's as well
The life of him who has a friend
Is double-guarded to the end.
My Best FriendHe taught me what respect is.
He showed me trust.
He shows me love.
He has put his life on hold to try and repair my life.
He is giving me hope for a future witout violence.
He has told me that I am a lady.
He told me I have class.
He is leading me to a new life and future.
He is our....Buzz!

My best friend, is my son, too, however, he is too young to be a complete friend to me, and I to him, since he is still being raised, and not an adult, yet.
So my best friend, is my English friend. Nothing is Taboo in our dicussions together. He accepts me as the nutty-bunny I am, and I accept him, even with all of his English in-bred properness. Disgusting, I know! LOL! We chat for hours at a time, the most being 7 hours! We send each other gifts, and letters across the ocean, we've talked on the phone. He's been my friend for 6 years, the longest friendship I have ever had. I've been through 3 computers with him!
Our children talk online, and send emails to each other.
I have never met him personally, since neither of us has gotten up the money to go and see the other, but as I have said before to you, true friends stay, and always have ways to contact the other, outside of PC. We are not lovers, or even interested in each other in that way, but I love to tease him about it!
As I said, nothing is Taboo with us, even when I cut-down his queen!
He also irritates the HELL out of me a lot. I cannot count the fights we've had! But, I love him, and his children. He is one of the kindest people I know, just for putting up with me, alone! LOL

That's really sweet! You rarely see a great father/son relationship like that anymore. Kudos to you both!
Well, I have multiple best friends. But, I'll go with the dog on this one. She's the greatest! You know what they say...'Dogs are a mans best friend.'
She loves me unconditionally, and vice versa. Whenever I get mad at her when she pottying on the carpet, she usually waits about 15 mins, and then she'll come up to you with her tail ducked, and starts to suck up. And of course, I give in every time! She loves snuggling with me, and when I say 'Cutsie, lets go snuggle bug...lets go nite nite!' She'll run down the hallway hauling ***!! She loves to sleep. We love playing 'wrestle' and she loves when I share my food with her....but what dog doesn't? There is sooo much more, but I love her to bits and pieces!

Aw Buzz, you are so sweet. Single, huh?
I don't have one specific best friend.. I have a few. My parents have become my best friends as I get older and then there is Trish. She is a very important person in my life and without her to talk to, I may be in the loony bin. I am also her daughters godmother. Plus I have so many wonderful friends, sometimes it's hard to pick a "best" one.

My best friend is kind of a slob, but has a heart as big as he is. He'd do most anything for anyone & ask for nothing in return. He's helped me out a few times, sometimes in difficult circumstances & on very short notice. I'd do the same for him. I'm glad he's got my back.

Yeah i would say that to my friends but only if I'm sure he won't get offended. Im sure if i said it to the wrong or sensitive friend, that person won't be a 'friend' anymore afterward lol haha

Sounds wonderful to me. NO shame in tears like that. My father used to cry too.
My best friend is crazy and fun. We talk everyday and laugh about the most unusual things together. If we didn't laugh we would be crazy.
