In preChristian Hebrew custom, the devil wasn't a being and did no longer unavoidably have a sort. A satana replaced into an capability of trial and obstruction and must be God-sent to attempt the fortitude of a believer. Hebrews who have been exiled in Babylon tailored some Babylonian ideals into their faith--particularly the theory in angels. Legends and mythology--lots of it incredibly is incredibly spelled out interior the previous or New testomony--then began some conflict in Heaven wherein a being in many situations pronounced as devil and each each now and then Lucifer--led to fairly some worry. That (fallen) angel replaced into pronounced to be distinctly captivating and humanoid. in the process the middle a while and actually tremendously interior the later middle a while and into the nineteenth and twentieth century, the devil replaced into depicted as a satyr or, later, a goat-headed, a million/2-male/a million/2 lady, a million/2-human/a million/2-beast creature. some say that the image replaced into modeled after the minor Greco-Roman nature god Pan or an alleged Gnostic deity pronounced as Baphomet, that probable basically existed interior the minds of medieval Inquisitors and nutty nineteenth century occultists.

The devil's image is claimed so ugly, you cannot see
him.
The devil is a force, it's like saying, what does
gravity look like. We can't say, it has a totally
different dimension, so does the devil.
Many people depict him as a red, naked,
muscular (hairy at the maximum where humans
have hair, apart from the head).
Flames around him, two eyes, he is tall,
holds a iron trident staff, he is red and have
massive or tiny horns on his head.
I depict him like that too, but his trident will be
sharp pointed with blood and he would massive
horns on his head and is sardonically extremely
intelligent, no fear and is chained to his lava
pit, he will be on a planet furthest away and almost
outside the universe and his screams give terror
to the universe beneath him, until one day, his
anger and his chains worn, will cause him to
break free and reign (rule) the universe with
terror, the light of god will run out of energy
and all our spirits, in hell and in heaven
will be enslaved to the master himself,
satan (the devil).
He is possibly holding a crystal ball
to plan his terror, he can talk through
it and tell people to be evil and
temptation, no one can reach him
though, he has to wait and service
his sentence, growing more in
anger, when he has to face hell,
he will kill god before god puts
him in hell.
The demons are already summoned,
come my brethren of darkness, enslave
the world and destroy all light, throw
them in the pit and destroy all religion,
they shall all worship me (not me, satan,
these are his words in all religion).
When christ, muhammad and buddha,
christ is born, all will fall with temptation
and all will begin to fight one another,
until the blood rolls over space and time,
no one can save god, no one, not even
me (satan and, I guess myself).
He will chant those words forever,
until he breaks free. This relates to
his appearance and apparel, so I put
that too!

Many think of Satan the Devil as a figure with horns, hoofs and a tail, sometimes with red skin. Where does all that come from - "the red devil"? Not from the Bible, at least.
There are several bible-passages where Satan is likened to a snake. That might refer to his character. Also, there is the red snake (serpent) that John saw in a vision, but it is obvious that the vision John saw and then wrote about, contained symbolic things. In other words: Even though John in that vision saw a red snake (as a symbol of something), that does not mean that there was or is a literal red snake in reality.

What is your most defeating image. What steals your strength and creates pain. What is the face of fear. How do you bargan when you feel that you have nothing left. These are the essences of the energy known as Satan. It is a metaphore, not a being. Your perception sets you free. What is the essence of love and compassion. How do you experience Grace and forgivness, regain trust. There is no room for gratitude and love in a world view that empowers the concept of a devil. The challenge is to be free of it.

I believe that the Devil is not a real thing, that it was made up so that people would be scared into being good.
other than that i believe the devil looks like what ever you picture evil to look like.

I think the red tail and pitch fork thing is just to throw us off. That way if he's elected in office, or becomes elected some high official we won't suspect the obvious.
He's cunning and he needs to be unnoticed.

Damn good most of the time. The Devil would never appear as a hideous beast it would defeat the purpose. Think a slick con man type (Sean Connery looking, with apology to Sir Sean) or hot babe like Jessica Alba (with apology to Jessica)
