the first time i went to the ob/gyn i asked her about this. she said mine was broken, probably from using tampons for the last 5 years or so (it kind of breaks up over time; not all at once!) and yes, that makes sex less painful.

It is possible (but not likely) to break your hymen with a tampon. You can break it other ways too, like horseback riding. Some girls are even born without them. It might make sex a little less painful, but it probably will still hurt the first time because you will be stretching muscles and tissues.

Yes they will under certain circumstances but I doubt if it will ahve much effect on how painful or not sex is. Sex is not always painful the first time, especially if you have it with someone who is caring considerate and patient.
In countries where virginity is highly prized tampons do not sell very well because of the danger that they might break the hymen.

I've never heard anything close to this as far as tampons but I mean the come in all sorts of compact sizes which expand inside you, so I don't see how it would tear the hymen

if you use a normal/mini size tampon you should be fine, but there are cases in which there can be some damage of the hymen.

It may be possible, if so, do one thing, in case of excessive bleeding, rubber bands may be applied on the base of both the big toes for 3/5 minutes. Bleeding will be stopped. If necessary this may be repeated after 15/20 minutes.
