I am going to buy a new computer, I have several programs that are 32 bit. Will they still run on the 64bit CPUs?

All programs are now running on a 32 bit P4 and Windows Vista.

I have a 64-bit Athlon X2 CPU and am running Windows XP 32-bit on it. It works great. I don't suggest going with a 64-bit Operating System yet because there aren't a lot of drivers and programs that work in 64-bit mode yet.

yes most intel and all amd will run 32 bit software on a 64 bit cpu. if you have an amd with xp thats a perfect example xp home and pro are 32 bit software and they run on the amd 64 bit. and as for now im running vista 64 bit and i have lots of 32 bit programs running on it now.
