This is my specialty!
(No, I'm not morbid...just a hospice nurse...)
I guess I'm not too terrified of either. I have my living will in place, & my loved ones know what I want, so I won't die in pain if it's from natural causes. And I'm certainly not afraid of where I will go when I pass.
What scares me, is dying prematurely---not seeing my son grow into a man, dying before my parents, etc....and I'm afraid of how that would effect my loved ones.

The dying part. As long as I have dignity during the process I'll be content

The way I would die is what I would be afraid of...if I was afraid. When I think of horrible ways a person can die, I try to plan what I would do to fight for my life at that moment.
