i usually have regular periods after every 28 days.but the last one did not rush and lasted only three days.

you don't mention your age, but it is not at all uncommon to have irregular periods. Stress can cause it, poor diet can cause, starting a new exercise routine, all sorts of things can lead a woman to have an irregular period. It is nothing to be afraid of. Just keep track. If they continue over the next six months to be irregular then talk to your doctor, there are meds he can give you to regulate them again.

If you are in your teens, this may be normal as your hormones are still fluctuating. Keep a calendar of your menstrual flow and other symptoms (headache, cramps, etc.) and if your irregularity continues for longer than 3 months, see a physician (preferrably a gynecologist) to rule out possible causes such as ovarian cysts. And don't be scared!

If you have been sick or stressed out that can throw your period out of wack or your cycle could just be changing.
