every baby is differnt
my daughter started crawling at 6 months with a full hip to foot cast on only her toes showed (she was born with club foot and had a opperation on it at 6 months old), BUT my son started crawling at around 5 1/2 months
Some babies don't crawl at all they go straight to walking some only crawl backwards, some only crawl forwards some just roll to get where they wanna go

I have twin boys and neither of them have started crawling yet at 7 months and 1 week old, but they are close and scootching everywhere. It is different for every kid, some never crawl they roll and go straight to walking. It also depends on if they were born prematurely or are heavy or skinny babies. There are so many things that make a difference in when a child crawls. I would say if they are going to crawl it will be anywhere between 6-9 months. They may scooch earlier than 6 months but I don't believe they would actually crawl prior to 6 months!

According to the Hawaii Early Learning Profile(HELP) developmental assessment It is developmentally appropriate for a child to not start crawling on hands and knees until they are about 8 months old. Some kids do an army crawl on the fore arms before the start crawling,

Anywhere between 6 months and 10 months. However, my oldest never did crawl. He rolled where-ever he wanted to go, then he got up and walked. Girl's usually move along faster than boys. My daughter walked at 9 months and my boys walked around 13 months. It all depends on how much they want to get going. They will usually try to start crawling when they are able to get up and balance on their hands and knees. They will fall on their bellies a few times, but will get the hang of it fairly soon after that.

All depends on the baby. My first crawled at five and a half months but my almost eight month old still can't crawl. He just scoots.

It really depends on your baby, kids each develop at their own rate. They usually start crawling around 7-8 months.
