I looked at windows it could have been on, in road where flat was, estate agents who may be letting it, but no luck.
I only remember the road it was in, which floor and date of availabilty.
What wd be good way to find out on web? Eg sites, search terms

If you know the road you can find out the postcode by doing a google map search.

Type this into a rental search engine, and look for properties of that exact type (i.e. 1 bed flat, right price range) in that exact postcode.

Rightmove has about as good a penertraion into the rental market as any I would use them first.

Try www.ononemap.co.uk which shows properties for let or to buy within a specified area

Go to Rightmove.co.uk then go under the letting section and enter the area. it should then come up.

I'd suspect that it's been let and is no longer on the market.
