What kind of friends do you have that they openly tell you they don't think you're pretty? That's not very nice, whether it's true or not.
If you think you're pretty, that's all that matters. Maybe if you went shopping for a few nice new clothes and maybe went to get some new makeup tips from professionals at the department store beauty counter or something, you could learn how to showcase yourself in the best way so others will notice you.

Hey, you shouldn't care what they say, if they don't except you for what you look like, then they're not really your friends. rethink this, instead of your question, ask, how can I find people who accept me the way I am? No one is ugly. I've never seen you, but YOU"RE NOT UGLY! and you don't have to live up to their expectations. Be and look yourself, that's true beauty.

Wax your eyebrows, get a tan, throw on some makeup and wear a skirt. They will notice immediately.

If they think you are ugly, they are not your mates... Just don't care for it....Caring for silly things is waste of time... think about doing something better and find people who can like you the way you are.....

Well then I think you're friends are probably jealous. If you are pretty that's why they say you are not. If they continue to be mean they are not worth having as friends.

these people are not your friends. Real friends don't think you are ugly and definately don't call you ugly. dump them and find new friends that appreciate and don't insult you.
