But now, Matt was changing. No longer was he married to his job. No longer did he sleep in a crummy old cot in his office. Instead of spending his free time fishing with Festus, he was always by Sunshine's side.
The townsfolk were becoming accustomed to the changes they saw taking place in their Marshal. Whereas once they regarded him a very stoic man, they now witnessed another side to him. He needed only the love of his SunnyMac to bring it out. Matt even started wearing something other than his worn out reddish shirt. These days he wore a different shirt everyday!
