do you think that the observance of national holidays should not be moved to other dates?

i personaly think that national holidays should NOT be moved but i neeed more reasons to prove this.. pls. help me:)

Absolutely. Moving holidays to a Monday just so there will be a long weekend takes all meaning from the celebration. Very few people in this country can tell you what the meaning of Memorial Day or Labor Day is other than picnics and big sales at the mall. I'm surprised they haven't proposed moving July 4 to the first Monday in July!

No. Instead I don't believe in having any national holidays other than Independence Day. All the others mix political agendas and religion.
