some from of the Herpes virus can be transferred through kissing.

Yes you can actually get Herpes Simplex it's not very common, but yes you can get it if the person you are kissing is infected.

You can also get Mono, but highly unlikely.

If you have an open wound and the person you are kissing does as well you could actually pass HIV or any other STD that is found in fluid transmitted diseases.

I don't know that it has ever been proven, but I am sure you can get anything the other person has. Think about it HIV lives in blood, sweat, tears, and saliva. SO why wouldn't you get it by kissing????

MRSA is live for up to 48 hours on any surface so I would have to say kiss wisely and good luck. Hope this doesn't scare you. I think that the short amount of time kissing should cut down on the pass of infection, or STD rate!

heres an answer to your question about how many deseases could be cuased: they r testing for those who r afraid of needles to just spit in a dish to get tested for STD's (soemthing about spit and blood being very similiar)

herpes. and many people think you can get aids from kissing but it can only be passed through blood and sextul intercourse

glandular fever and obviously colds and flus could be passed threw kissing.
