No politician should EVER take money from PACs or corporations. Contributions from those organizations should be BANNED FOREVER.
I see contributions from PACs and corporations as the *worst* problem with politics in America today.

It will put him at a disadvantage. Hillary and Obama have no such qualms. Edwards has real enemies among the corporate lobbyists. He will struggle to survive this race.
Edwards’s stance may be better for his constituents but in the practical world of campaigns corporate and PAC money can be very important.

If he does not accept PAC money that is very honorable, but somewhere along the line there HAS to be PAC money. He is a candidate and he won't get to the WH without some PAC money. Just because a politician makes such claims, you need to take that with a grain of salt!

I think it's a good thing. I think candidates should only accept contributions from individuals. You know, the ones who can actually vote? Corporations and PACs are not voters, and they should not be able to influence elections, on either side.

He is a poser like most of the jokes running in '08. You have Giuliani and Romney who are liberals at heart, Edwards the poser who says he cares about the poor when he does not, Clinton who supported the war, but then decided she did not actually support the war, and Obama, who just says what everyone wants to hear.

he doesn't take money from PAC's because the law is if you take in a certain ammount from PAC's then you are limmited as to how much money you receive from the government for campaign funds, and something to do with collection of private funds as well.
