He and his kind are pissed off that the vote didn't go their way. So they want the fairness doctrine brought back. BUT if that happens then the liberal newspapers, tv/news agencies, MICHAEL MOORE types would need to give up equal time for conservative thought/opinion. Of course then the Democrats will whine saying that isn't the same thing as conservative talk radio. Face it, liberal talk radio failed because no one wants to listen to it. These whiny pansy Dem's are going to try and strong arm radio station owners into giving liberal talk show hosts equal time whether they want to or not.
Look, all of congress is pissed that the people spoke and they were forced to listen. They realize that we aren't as stupid and blind as they thought/hoped. BOTH parties believe they are above it all and haven't listened to us in a very long time. Now they did and had their feelings got hurt.

Becasue he is a left wing liberal radical who cannot stand two facts, liberal left wing radio failed miserably because the American people spoke loudly by not listening to them. Two, conservative radio is huge, and is racking up huge numbers of listeners, and making huge strides in telling the truth about what the left has been doing to this country for decades and the liberal left cannot stand that. They will start with the criticisims in a vain attempt to give credence to their censorship plans which are already in the works. Its an outrageous attempt at violating the peoples rights to free speech and choice.

Simple or not, talk radio is show BUSINESS. Station owners only care about ratings to they can sell commercials to make more money. If simplistic solutions gain ratings, fine. If 24 hours a day of polka music would do it, that's all you would hear.

In the San Francisco Bay area, there are four main talk radio stations. Two are plainly liberal and two are plainly conservative and all label themselves openly as such. KSFO is a conservative station. KGO is more liberal. Both are owned by ABC. KNEW is conservative. KQWK is liberal. Both are owned by Clear Channel. The implication is clear. The owners don't give a damn about politics as long as somebody buys commercial time.

Free speech? Forget it. It costs millions of dollars.
