Totally depends who you are, mate! Other than that, I'm guessing too many for it to be a realistic endeavour...

Um....if you have to ask on an online message board, you are not even on the list. Do you have any royal ancestry of note? Legitimate, too I might add? In order to even make the list, you would need to be a legitimate non-Catholic descendent of the Electress Sophia of Hanover in the male line.
And by the way - there is no such thing as the King of England, nor has there been since the Act of the Union in 1707. Lets hope all those people ahead of you stay firmly alive, shall we.

Let's see: 793 descendants of Queen Victoria have prior claim to the Throne, and 34 of her great, great, great, great, great grandchildren are now living. Since the Hanoverian Succession in 1714, no other previous claimants can ascend the Throne, exempting all would be Bonnie Prince Charleses--or Thoms--from the Crown.
In other words, if you can claim descent through the Stuart, Tudor, Plantagenet, or York dynasties, you're out of luck--along with 75 to 80 percent of Her Majesty's subjects and a good many of their American cousins (all of whom can claim direct descent from English royalty).

Probably thousands would have to die. If you don't have royal ancestry past the 1500's or 1600's and have no titles, you have no chance. Every person in the line of succession is a direct descendant of Electress Sophia of Hanover and many are a direct descendant of Queen Victoria.

If you don't know where you are on the list then you're probably so far down that, if the throne ever did get to you, it would only be because Britain and most of Europe had suffered some kind of catastrophic event that killed millions of people. If that were so, who was on the throne would be the least of anyone's worries.
If you're not one of the first couple hundred in line, then it doesn't matter where you are.

Sir, that is completely dependent upon who you are. And due to the fact that you are asking this question I sincerely doubt if you are in line to be nominated or even considered. I would have to know your family lineage, and you would have to obtain a great deal of political power in Britain as well as around the world before you could ever be recognized by the status quo, which is the Royal family. To sum up my answer, it probably is not even vaguely possible.

Are you related to the royal family? I'm from the United States & my ancestors are from England. My Uncle has traced our family history to the royal family, but I don't care to be part of it. Does not matter to me who believes that or not. I'm just happy where I am. You don't have to be a king to be great!

You'd have to take me out before you got there, my family has been descended from the English Royalty as of only 100 years ago.
