Danny's wife Pam died in a car accident caused by a drunk driver, shortly after Michelle was born. Jesse was Pam's sister, (brother-in-law to Danny). Joey was Danny's best friend from grammer school, as seen in a flashback episode, also mentioned they were college roomates. After Pam died, and Danny's mother moved out of the house, Jesse and Joey moved in to help raise the girls.

The mother died before the show started.
Uncle Jesse was the mother's brother and Uncle Joey was Danny(the father)'s best friend from college.

the mom died,how i dont know,but uncle jesse was the brother of the kids mother,so he was brother-in-law to the father,and uncle joey was just a close friend of the father

The mom died - I don't remember if they ever said how though. Jesse was the mom's brother - which would make him the father Danny's brother-in-law. Joey was just a friend from school.

She died, car accident I believe. They only referenced her a couple times- the entire run, but one early episode they show a home video of when "Michelle" was born and you see 'Mom'. And as everyone else has stated.. Jesse is her brother and Joey, friend of Danny. BTW her name was Pam. Now it was strange that the parents (Jesse's) never mentioned their deceased daughter and they popped up a couple times in the first season or so.

I think that the Full House mother had died leaving the dad a widower. My guess would be that Uncle Jessie was the father's brother and Uncle Joey was the brother in-law of the father, based on family resemblance.

i dont know about the mom but jesse is dannys brother in law and joey was dannys roomate in college and are great freinds
