i gave it a bath and it still smells and im wondering what i can do to make that nasty smell get off of it and what do i feed it

chicks are smelly critters. they release ammonia in their poo. but, giving him a bath was your mistake. that stresses him out ALOT, which creates ammonia, and the ammonia is what smells. wooops, we all make mistakes. good luck witth the chickkkii i hope i helped out

Chicks smell. They eliminate ammonia in their stool. Frequently changing their bedding and using a highly absorbant litter like care-fresh (a shredded newsprint) will help. Give the chicken a little more time, eventually the smell will go away, that's normal

It will come off in time. Don't worry about washing the smell off. Just keep it warm. You may end up killing it if you try washing it when it is that young.
