Probably your CD ROm or CPU fan have some problem

Why ask on answers when you are not good at computers ask your computer company to resolve this issue

Antivirus and improper shutting down should create software issues not sounds coming from hardware.
Hope that helps.

Cheers!

Fluckering sound? Hmm, sound like it could be a fan. If it sounds every time you open an application, its because your processor is being used more, and therefore the fan on the processor has to cool it down. If something is stuck in the fan, you will have the sound everytime the processor is doing something. It would probably be a good idea to take it apart, or if your cautious about taking it apart, pay some guy a rediculous amount of money to take it apart for you :D

Hope this helps :D

Does it happen when you are loading things? Could it be your hard drive? Look on the front of your case to see if your hard drive light is blinking at the same time the sound is happening. If so, back up your data ASAP and get a new hard drive.

smack it whenever it sounds
check the power connection wires
better to have an air blower inside

and also for future
keep it away from dust & moisture
& keep defragmenting the HD (2-3 times per month, depending on your usage)

its not the virus problem

improper shutting is due to some window corrupted files
