Apple computers now have the Intel chips, so with a program called "Boot Camp" can download the Windows operating system, and run all of those Windows programs... AND all of the Mac programs! If you have "hacker" skills you could probably load in the Apple operating system into a PC, but why would you want to? Apples are more stable. If you are going to be doing pro video or audio work or pro graphics work, you should probably get a Mac.

Toshiba is 100% better than Apple. You should get a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092. I have one, and I love it. You should get it from Best Buy like I did.

It all depends on which operating system you like better. I prefer Mac, but I'm used to it. With Bootcamp, you can run Windows Mac.
The Toshiba will most likely cost less.
