Flowers are always nice but I think that you need to do something more personal for her, like write a poem or a really nice letter telling her how you feel about her or a necklace with something engraved on it. I don't know those are the only ideas I can think of but I would like to say that you are a very sweet man for wanting to do something so special for your wife even though you are far away.

Write down some ideas about what you think is special about her. Have a buddy videotape you "talking" to her telling her why she's special and that you miss her and wish you were together. Get mushy. Then EMail the video or send her a disc (or videotape if that's the medium you have at home). You can get a trinket along with it if you want, but it's not necessary.

She can watch it over and over.

Write a sexy story about her on Literotica (use a pet name only you 2 know) and give her the link. Buy her a nice toy from Big4Ranch ( my favorite site) to go with the story. Have flowers delivered and you have made one happy girl. (If she is a big freak like some of us ;)

Jewelry (w/o a second thought)

ALL WOMEN LOVE JEWELRY.

And P.S., I think it sucks that you're in Iraq, because Bush the Idiot is sending soldiers there for absolutely no reason. I don't support the war at all, but I think that is the most wonderful thing that you are willing to get your wife something for her birthday.

Oh... gift cards work too.

Send your wife a letter and tell her how much you love her and how she makes you feel. Tell her how much you miss her.
I am not married to someone in Iraq, but I can imagine she must be misreable without you. Send her a kiss.

Buy her a necklace. She can wear that constantly, so it'll feel to her like something of you is always there.

Try www.shaneco.com. They're a large jeweler that does free shipping.
