I remember i was walking so fast when i hit my leg at the edge of the car,and my friend looked back at me and said
"are u ok"
I was like "yea sure im fine"when at the same time tears started falling down my cheeks lol

yes... but i have a good reason to do so, my family over-worries about everything and i hate it.. i hit my toe and the hit is heard in the corridor or so... and they come and say: what? what happened!? .. i say nothing... they say we heard something.. i say no not from here...
cause if i said yes... i'll be treated in such kind way.. i mean yes i thank them for their care but i'll be treated like i'm a baby or something.... and i hate that.. really annoying.. like i can't take care of myself.. annoying, it's so annoying..

I think you asked your question backwards and I don't think sucking it up is the same thing as faking. You can be fine and be in pain so saying you're fine when you are in pain isn't faking anything. Way back when I played American football, I remember our coaches saying there was a difference between pain and an injury. You play through pain but get off the field for an injury. That, and the fact that most (not all) American football players are jerks, are the two things I took from my time playing A. football.

Hi Pinky! How are you today?
I have skin cancer and must have surgery at least once a year. So far I had 25! The scars on my back are really painful and one day I had 3 and I went to work the next day. I was teaching the whole day with a smile but in the breaks I locked myself in the bathroom to cry, it somehow helped me getting rid of the pain! I will never do that again!

Yes, Pinky, sometimes you just feel like you have to put on a brave face, huh? I've done it a bunch of times, when I've been out in the world w/ my little one. You just don't have time for pain and discomfort when your a mommy.
