He is trying to revamp the old Pistons when they played with 3 Guards, with him, Isaiah, and Vinnie"The Microwave" Johnson.

The Pistons aren't logjammed at guard, imo. Lindsey Hunter and Flip Murray were awful off the bench and they no longer have Carlos Delfino. Hunter has another year on his deal. I think Murray is a free agent and gone.

The ones they have are getting old and or expensive. Hopefully these guys can learn from them while playing limited minutes until they retire or leave in a few years.

I wish they had gotten a solid big man or someone to back up Prince as someone else pointed out 1st before building more guard depth. Wallace and McDyess are getting pretty old. Prince is solid but just cant seem to quite get over the hump and become a good player. He needs to be more aggressive.

I don't understand affalo, but rodney stuckey will be the future of a team. I've watched him play since he was a sophmore at kentwood high school and he has only gotten better and better, the pistons got a steal getting him with the 15th pick, he is a big guard that will be able to shoot, and pass like chauncy billups but is more physical and will be able to rebound and take it to the rack even better than chauncy can. Affalo I think they were hoping that he will play good defense and be able to bak up chauncy at the point and they will let stuckey back up rip at the 2.

1. Billups is opting out of his contract.
2. There guards were exposed in the playoffs by the Cavs.
3. The guys coming off the bench are ancient and they need to get some new blood in there

They needed some help behind Chauncey & Rip. Hunter is aging and Flip Murray doesn't seem to be the answer. Plus they've got a ton of big men. I would have liked to see them add a SF to backup Prince with Delfino gone now, but I guess they didn't see anyone to their liking.

They need help last season. Now they have a young backup for Chauncey. They can shop FIip and Lindsey can retire. Stuckey can play the 1 or 2.

I think That Being A Pistons Fan, i Think that Chauncey billips is leaving detroit I think they are going to let him go that why we have drafted three guards and 3 guards= Chauncey Billips that's just how good He is

But YES too answer your question they are jam packed with guard but that's good (incase billips do stay some body to rest him and rip)

Good Question= Star

Since Chauncey Opt'd out of his contract he might not come back. So they drafted 3 PG's to back him up. Lindsey will retire. So they will be stocked with 4 really young PG's. So they will be very good. I think Arron Afflalo will start. The UCLA PG.

You are right, but I have a funny feeling this isn't the end product. Free agency is beginning, and trades are still an option. What you see now is the beginning of something. And don't forget we may be losing Billups.
