I'm tired of the predictable Hollywood schmaltz. I want the bad guy to win, for once.

Predictable, but Star Wars Episode 3 and 5. Name says it all.
Others are Hannibal, Saw movies, and The Ring. Actually a lot of horror movies have the bad guys winning..

If you don't watch "Return of the Jedi" immediately after, the bad guys essentially win in "Empire Strikes Back." The entire Godfather series is essentially JUST bad guys. There are no real good guys, so the bad guys win there, too. But I think my favorite movie where the bad guy wins is "Seven." Brad Pitt refused to be in the movie if stupid Hollywood changed the ending like they wanted to, and Pitt won. Thank goodness. It is a classic.

ooh you should watch Blade Runner because its kind of about questioning who the bad guy actually is, plus its an amazing film and its not typical hollywood nonsense.

For example in Freddy Kruger or other scary movies, you think they died or something and no, at the end of the movie it turns out they are alive and kicking.

Identity, Seven, Saw (or pretty much any movie that leaves it open so there can be a sequel).
