yes. My dad is 70, mom 68. Mom just had cancer surgery and dad couldn't take care of her. My niece, my daughter, my brother, and I all took turns helping out when we could. I dread the day that one or both of them need full time care.

No at all. I have always felt they spent everyday of their lives caring and worring about us from the time we are born and all through are adult lives. So when it's time for someone to vare from them we need to step up to the plate and do what ever we can to help them through the last years of their lives.

I wish I had the privilege.My Dad died when I 16 and my Mom when I was 23.

i always tease my parents that i'm putting them right in a home at the first sign that they're losing it.

not really. I think they have planned for a good retirement and possibilities outside that.
