Does anyone else agree that it's gotten pretty ridiculous lately? I can understand some of the shows, but seriously, who cares about Next? Where are some freakin videos? Where are the cool VJs from the 80's and early 90's? And WHY on earth does TRL still come on? I know I don't have to watch it if it bothers me, but I used to LOVE MTV!

There is a music channel called The Tube which actually plays videos and nothing but. VH1 Classics isn't too bad. They still play a lot of music. Someone already mentioned YouTube and that's very cool. You'll see stuff on there that MTV never dared to play.

I think if I want music videos I go to youtube, ifilm, or dailymotion. I have found most of the videos I want to find at these sites. That is what I do on the computer all day is listen to music. I have found songs I never dreamed I would ever hear again. Who cares about MTV any more. It's just boring crap mostly.

Some stupid college grads who became execs came up with the idea to change MTV into a reality channel .
So they did away with the videos and the channel lost it's character .

Amen to that. And my super sweet 16?! No one wants to watch spoiled brats! its all dancing and spoiled idiots. the only shows i like on there is High school stories, scarred, viva la bam, and wild n' out. they need more music related stuff, for christs sake the name is MUSIC television, not "stupid rich kids and dancing television"!

i totally agree. they have music videos on at like 7 in the morning. and somthime on vh1 they have videos. i never watch any of those shows like next or any other crap like that.
