I live in canada but love the US. I'd love to buy a small home to go just rest sometimes.
So I wonder what is the best small town. Let's say: -3000 people, not an expensive gated community, a normal middle class small town, with nice people, not a big florida tourist town, no crime, maybe with a couple nice restaurants and antique store. Just a very small town where everybody knows everybody and where it's nice to live.
My girlfriend would like to feel like she is in the same town as gilmore girls. hehe.

Not too much north. Maybe mid US going south. Anyone has a nice place to submit?

Its 30 miles south of Dalton, the carpet capital of the world. property values are great, And taxes are too. 600.00 per year on my 120000 house. no crime to speak of. Lots of wildlife. on interstate 75 306 miles from the Florida line. My little slice of Heaven!

Oronogo Missouri. I live here!! We have less than 3000 people. We don't have restraunts here in Oronogo but in Webb City which abuts Oronogo there are great restraunts. Antique stores galore. I actually have a booth at one of the bigger ones. We moved here from New York and we love it. No crime that I am aware of but I have a cop living right next door to me. Everyone knows you even when they first meet you they treat you like a long lost friend.

television is produced in l. a. for the main section. once I lived in l. a....it became into uncommon to discover every physique who knew something outdoors of California. they simply think of they be conscious of issues. like the manufacturers of the 70's instruct..werent even plenty born whilst the 70's handed off. Thats why they have microwaves on the set. The smaller the city, the extra all of us is going to be conscious of approximately each others employer This has its united statesand downs. many cases in a brilliant city--a guy or woman would possibly no longer be enjoyed. In a small city..they be conscious of WHY you would be the way you're..and comprehend that. They dont style covens and that crap. there is places people congregrate--as there arent that many places to connect up with people. people can stay in vast or small residences That has no longer something to do with the city length. There arent going to be mysteries to unravel.. maximum probable as all of us is conscious what is going on. television is fiction..

Where in Canada do you live? Michigan has very nice small towns. The Upper Peninsula is nice and not very crowded, but there are some pretty quaint towns in the Lower, also.

It's not south, but, Saugerties, New York may qualify.
