Its about time somebody stood up to this coward and let him know that their not happy with the way his administration is ruining this country and the world. It took 50 of the brightest students, one from each state, who signed this letter denouncing his policies on torture and his foreign policies.
As a vet my hats off the those 50 brave students.

When a Veteran calls people brave, they're brave. Bush ignored the letter because he can't read.

I am not an American and no fan of the President but I would like to believe that Bush's heart is in the right place. I would like to believe his intentions are good. However, that being said, he is a reflection of your country. We had an embarrassing PM up here a little while back that had the same sort of support that your leader has/had. Makes you wonder sometimes . You are a great Nation but running all over the World like a chicken with their head cut off, because of one atrocity, torturing prisoners and not expecting the same treatment for your brave soldiers, thumbing their noses at subpoenas, building fences that could just as easily be turned around to keep you in (remember the Berlin Wall) , because it is easier than enforcing your own laws...Do as i say, not as I do is no way to show the rest of the world how great you are, only how paranoid you can be. Yes, you were attacked, yes you had the majority of the world behind you in the hunt for Bin Laden(and still do there) and yes, you do need to protect your borders but bigger fences do not make for better neighbors, we all know that, reaching out to help your neighbor improve things is the way to go and makes for a whole lot less enemies. You are/were a great Country. Act like one, not a bully just because you can. Terrorists have been around since the beginning of time, this is nothing new, technically, your founding fathers could be classified as terrorists(not by me). Why is it so hard to understand that democracy at gunpoint is not a democracy. There will always be some that no one can appease and yes, we all need to be aware but hate is a self perpetuating entity that leads nowhere, history has taught us that. If you take a look at some of the recently released CIA documents, everything you feared other "rogue" nations may do, you all did or explored doing. Two wrongs don't make a right. Hold your leaders accountable, each of you deserve the whole truth, whatever that may be , waiting 40 or 50 years before documents are released due to "National Security" means that leaders are not accountable and is wrong.Sorry for the ramble, just a concerned neighbor talking over the fence. Yuck, I hate the sound of that...

There doesn't seem to be much coverage on this although it did indeed happen. Amazingly, Rubert Murdock apparently didn't pick up on the story ... but here are a few links below:

He sneezed his grammar skills out the window long before he came into office. He sneezed any trace of common sense. He sneezed compassion and empathy out the wazoo. He's friends with Osama's family and brought us into an oil war. Aaaawwwwwww. That's why all the bible bangers voted him in. He has more compassion for his enemy than his friend. How Christian-like.

"Georgie" and Dick "The Monster" Cheney are both
Neo-Con demons who should be ashamed to face
a veteran or any of the other brave Americans who
are fighting and dying for their lies!
Impeachment is too good for them!

Bush did the old lie and deny routine there. Think he bothers with anyone who disagrees?
