I asked a question about women of color, I didn't say black or anything that I presumed to be derogitory, yet I get a black woman telling me that I should stick with my own race. This makes me wonder how is it she can make remarks like that. anybody out there still think only whitey is racist? And don't come back to me about how bad they are treated, please I don't want to get into that kind of fight.

That lady had no right tellling you that it is not right.
That is her opinion and she should keep it to herself.
There is racism is every culture.
It should not matter if say a black person goes with a white etc.
To me we are all equal.
I don't think peoples attitudes are ever going to really change, which is a real shame.

I think that most people on yahoo are tired of why are blacks this why are asians that why this what that. With all the racism in the US against minorities do you really feel you need to fuel anyones fire? I am sorry but in all of yahoo it seems the white are the ones writing racist questions and hurting others. I am white and not at all proud of all the racism and bigotry shown in yahoo. Very digusting. I love the American people but someone has to get a grip on racism in the USA.

I didn't see your original question ... but I agree ... anyone who gets their back up about the term "women of color" is probably more a racist than you. Racism and bigotry does not discriminate ... it works all ways.

individuals are entitled to their own opinions and viewpoints. there are times when everyone has said something which may offend another sometimes unintentionally. each individual has certain areas in which they are less tolerant than others.
