I am getting sick and tired of someone reporting me for a violation ie the last answer to be deleted was "You're the first person to make me laugh today" - if the person who did this has the balls to make him/herself known, please do so but I doubt very much that you have.

The question didn't need an answer just a response, my response was his question made me laugh - how insulting can this be? Some people are so pedantic.

I have to agree that this is uncalled for; however, there are many people who have nothing better to do in life then to try to destroy someone else. If you answered a question that didn't require a knowledgeable answer then you are not wrong. If it required a little more thought than what you put into it, then maybe you shouldn't have answered it or deleted your answer. Reporting someone for saying what you did is a show of being uneducated.

I agree with u. Some people on here are abusing this violation thing. Why would u be accused of violation simply b/cos someone doesn't like yr answer even though the answer is not insulting. I have been reported before & i didn't even know why.

They do it all the time if yahoo docked them points for unfair reporting they would stop.The problem is the guidelines are so vast and vague...nearly everything you write could be deemed to be offensive to someone or be against the code of conduct.You should be told who did the reporting.
I've had violations for innocuous jokes and once for a straightforward answer...someone asked what a "titwank" was and I told them...what else could I have done??
As to your answer not being an answer (Rhodustian)...how can you answer a joke? ..it's not a question.

I've been reported for asking someone how many times they are going to ask the same question. From what I learned it's OK to ask the same question over and over again, but don't answer the question with the same answer.
I agree, people take this way to seriously!

Sounds to me that you're spamming. Your responses appear thoughtless and incomplete. Rather than just saying "you made me laugh" you could provide some additional info to back up your position for others who happen to disagree with you.
Ask yourself, did I accurately answer the question? It appears no, and thus it is spam. As is this question, but not this answer, as I am telling you I did not report you. And finally, calm down.

get used to it. i had an account suspended because people reported stupid things. that account had 3050 answers with 24% best answer. still pissed off about it now.
