“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell

For those who answered, "survival" or "to reproduce": Those are natural processes just like weather is a natural process. That's not a purpose in life anymore than raindrops have a purpose.

Dear mJc, that is a wonderful line: "We are here to help others. However, I don't know what the others are doing here."
Thanks for providing it.

To seek the truth and develop your love and compassion for all beings so that you can help all beings throughout your life. The only formula to a truly happy life and the one that will bring longer and more joyful times of happiness. Most our "happiness" is short-lived and brings sadness when it is gone. To learn the truth and to live in loving compassion brings long lasting happiness.

To serve God. I feel every person is born with a gift and purpose. It is our "job" if you will, to try and hone the skills you were born with to add harmony, peace, and quality life for ourselves and others. Everyone has the choice to live life happily or miserably, depending on how you use your gift.
