when i was in 10, i made the project on statistics-- to find the average weight or height of 20 students of my class by step deviation method. this is an easy project and can be prepared in a day. you can take any other method used in statistics.

i made mine on
1)mathematicians
i did pythagoras, aryabhatta and thales
simply go to wikipedia and u will get precise and relevant info

2)application of maths in daily life
i just made up this shopping list in which i was getting various discounts and calculated the bill after the discounts

i also took out the average age of, say children in a class, average age group in 'X' colony

i suggest go in for the mathematicians.dont just write about them write about their contributions like u could explain the proof of pythagoras. u will easily get everything in wikipedia.

best of luck!
