a)
d = v1^2/(2a1) + v1^2/(2a2)
d = (v1^2/2)(1/(a1) + 1/a2)
v1 = a1t1
d = ((a1t1)^2/2)(1/(a1) + 1/a2)
a2 = v1/t2 = a1t1/t2
d = ((a1t1)^2/2)(1/(a1) + t2/(a1t1))
d = ((a1t1)^2/(2a1)(1 + t2/t1))
d = (a1(t1)^2/2)(1 + t2/t1))
d = (2(30)^2/2)(1 + 60/30))
d = (30)^2(1 + 2)
d = 900*3 = 2,700 m

b)
vmax = v1 = a1t1 = 2*30 = 60 m/s

2.
v = at = √2ah
t = (1/a)√2ah
t = (1/9.81)√2(9.81)(2)
t = 0.63855 s
t1 = 2t5= 0.25542 s
