I just got the time sheet but I don't even remember submiting to that production! Is it ok if I email them back as double check what the project is exactly? How should I word it?

Do check into this first - something like "I'm updating my records and I can't find the information on this, could you tell me where and when . . . " etc.

I would be worried that this was an attempt to get your SSN for nefarious purposes.

First you should try and remember whether or not you submitted yourself.

If you still can't remember, then yes call and try and find out whether it is a legitamate project and whether that's something you want to do. Also find out how they got your information.

If you are in any data bases on the internet or if you have a website or your picture and résumé on someone else's site, they might have found you in that way.

Yes, you could call just to "double check" the call time and location to see if it's something you are comfortable doing.
