the tank is a good size for your fish, but angel fish when mature tend to eat and attack other fish, angel fish should be kept on there own when mature or in groups of 6 and more.
are you planning on keeping the angel fish when it matures ,or buying another small one.
when the angelfish matures if you keep it in your tank it will eat your guppies and attack your sword tails.
you have a black shark as well which can grow big and become aggressive as well.
for the time being i would see how your fish go with what you have in the tank as the angel fish is an aggressive fish

Get another Angelfish, it will reduce its aggression towards the Guppies as your Angel grows. Also, I thought I would let you know, that is not a communtiy tank. The Shark and Angel are both semi-aggressive fish... You may want to add some more Guppies too, you've got room. Good luck!
Please don't listen to Rachel C, from what she wrote, it sounds like she has never owned fish in her life. Plecos, Black Knifes, and Clown Loaches get far more than a foot long, way too large for a 25 gallon tank! Please just ignore everything she said... or you fish aregoing to be in a lot of trouble!

You don't need to worry about your Angel, they really only get aggressive when paired -singles tend to get along well in community tanks. They will eat smaller fish like neons when they can, but it will take a very long time before it is big enough to eat a guppy. You can go with tetras or rasboras, or a less feisty barb like cherry or rosy. Dwarf gaurami could work but might attract attention from the Angel - but other Gouramis can get aggressive and too big for your tank (so does the shark, I've seen one over 8 inches long with my own eyes, people think they grow smaller because they're never given proper homes). Remember to keep the schooling fish in schools. You can also add more guppies.

i would advise that you dont get any long finned fish as the angel are renouned for tailnipping. also they are terretorial and so no bettas or silver sharks. my red tailed shark is still a baby but he is not aggressive in any way to any of my other fish so he should be fine any other community fish.
The guppy and swordtails are community fish aswell so anything can be put with them.
Pleco are nice fish to have and are fascinating to watch, we they fo finally move lol.
Stay away from neon tetras, and reallysmall fish. A gouramis perhaps?? they are quite peaceful fish. i would also stay away from mollies partly because they killed my angelfish i dont know why. but i wouldnt keep them together.
take a look at some of these websites. they might help.

Firstly, U should not mix angel fish with a red tail shark! any person that knows about fish will tell you this..., get some more male guppies as they are soo beautiful. Swordtails are prone to breeding lots, however with an angel fish in the tank they are unlikely to survive. Angel fish are quite aggressive fish! (nothing like their name) here are some good community fish for you to have a look at that are nice fish and get on with most others.
silver sharks
pleco cat fish
clown loach
glass catfish
black ghost knife
siamese fighter male (can not be kept with angel or red tail shark)
Golden rule in fish:
red tail sharks do not go with angel fish
angel fish do not go with siamese fighter fish
siamese fighter fish do not go with red tail sharks
keep these 3 seperate and you should be ok.
also, you can not mis fish that give off an electronic pulse together ie cant mix black ghost knife with an elephant nose
Also, you need to make sure you have no fin nippers with long finned fish. Fin nippers are mainly cichlids as well as loads more, long fin fish are angel, fighter, guppies...
any more qs, just email me
others on here say red tail sharks grow big, they dont get bigger than 4-5 inches!

i found that when i had neons with my angle fish it ate the neons
also i had 2 angle fish and they fought and i had a siamese fighter and it attacked the angle fish and killed it so i would suggest anyone keep a angle fish singular and not with a siamese fighter as mine attacked the fins etc and made a right mess of it, and it wasnt small either
why dont you add some more guppies? i had guppies and mollies and a lot of tetras of different types whick looked really pretty

Any small gouramies bearing in mind that you have one bottom swimmer...three midwater swimmers and one surface swimmer. How about a flying fox to keep the redtailed shark company.

be careful with your angle fish and guppy as the angle fish grows it will eat your guppy, you need chilids, silver dollar's, discuss, gouramis and even a parrot fish could bond well, but be very careful with the little fish in there, dont put any neons as the sightly bigger fish will just think they are food.

Catfish, like corys, or loaches? No tetras, they might get eaten by the angelfish. Barbs are also okay.
