No Politician, definitely not Shekhawat, is without a skeleton or two in the cupboard.
Read the Economic Times assessment of Pratibha Patil, it's matter of fact, and I'm impressed.
Muck-raking and political vendetta has uncortunately become the hallmark of the BJP, a party i was really impressed with in my younger days.
Sonia Gandhi understands Indians more than you want to give her credit for ... how's it that diehard anti-Congree Shiv sena has also supported Ms Patil?
Patil's was Sonia's trump card, just like Manmohan Singh
Actually every person can be controversial...
Who knows? A little scratching around will reveal certain things about a particular bachelor scientist's sexuality that may be very embarrassing for the Hindu and Moslem Right.
This Presidential poll has been the dirtiest one and the most shameful. If Shekhawat is a gentleman, he should withdraw and allow the lady to become President uncontested.
It's a ceremonial title, isn't it?

A person chosen by the leader of the Congress party and supported by a cotrie of psychophants and chamchas cannot but be a weak , pliable , yes-man or woman and ever ready to take orders from the political akaas. This is a historical fact.See the examples of FakhruddinAli Ahmed , Giani Zail Singh .
The Communists are enjoying power without answerability. Power hungry Congress is being forced to follow its dictats and Congress party s spineless and shameless followers are as usual singing hymns in praise of their leader and hiding behind her sari-palloo.Arjun singh, Manmohan singh,Motilal vohra, to name a few are hanging on since ages just because they have mastered the technology of chamchagiri.
The casuality as a result of all thse foxy-manupulations is the country and its management and administration.

The country definetly deserves a good administrator , a non-partisan and non-controvercial personality. But in a situation where pigmies are ruling through unprincipled and manupulated majority what else can be expected.
