Not at all. Remember grass normally leaks out some juice anyway. If you need to use an extension cable, I'd recommend protecting the join with a plastic bag to prevent moist getting in there.

yes, I would say it is, for your strimmer. Water will get into the electrics and burn out the motor. It could also be dangerous for you always use an RCD.

They are usually plastic & double-insulated, so it shouldn't be an problem other than dry grass is easier to strim.
Remember to use an RCD though.

Go for it, what's the worst that could happen?! You could get electrocuted but at least you'll have a nice tidy garden, well except for the burning corpse.
