Is the u.s. going to have a long weekend this year starting this saturday june 30th and having july 2nd off. or is there no long weekend and only the actual 4th off. or is the long weekend the following week starting july 7th?

Many people will not get a long weekend for July 4th, this year.
Others will take it according to there own motivations & schedule.

No long weekends for us this year with the 4th of July falling on a Wednesday unless people are taking vacation days or calling in sick to work. .

THe middle answer. Normal weekend with Wednesday off.

This year we only get Wednesday off, but next year it is on a Friday so we will get a long weekend.

won't be a weekend but most will have the day (wednesday) off, I will be working
