Well, if you purchased it from a certified dealer, you can rest assured that it is genuine. If it is a copied version, there is a certain chance that it will be fake.

who the first time install ur windows? ask for it.
and the XP CD u using now. ask for it too. how much the CD is. then u will get ur answer
