I need the seven seat capability, but I don't want the Expedition or Yukon. And with both these models being new to the market there doesn't seem to be alot of literature on their long-term issues. Any concerns or accolades from current owners would be appreciated.

personally I would go with the GMC. Buying a GM vehicle will be cheaper to buy, cheaper for insurance and cheaper to fix if it breaks. Also with proper maintenance it should last hundreds of thousands of miles with only minor repairs.
