i REALLY dont want to get Circumsized, so i am trying my best to avoid it... at the moment i went to a doctor about my foreskin problem, first they snipped off a small piece of skin similar to the piece of skin under your tounge, it improved a LOT like i can retract it now when its NOT erect. But like 3 days after they snipped that out, i was trying to retract my skin while it was erect, i could Only get it half way past the head... i went back to the doctor, and he gave me a cream to apply twice a day, he said it should help loosen the skin, so i did for about 2 weeks now, and i can retract the skin past my head when erect, BUT its REAL tight and i have to almost force it down, its been like this now although i have been applying the cream a lot, should the last little bit of loosening take a longer time? or is this as loose as it can get? do i have no option but to get circumsized or just keep trying witht he cream till it gets loose, the cream is called Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream

They snipped the frenulum? That seems kind of unnecessary (and it probably got inflamed afterwards, which would explain what happened 3 days later). Anyway, there are many things you can do to loosen the foreskin.

Keep applying the cream, as sometimes it can take up to a month to get the full effect from the cream. There are also several other kinds of creams if the one you're using isn't working for you (link 1, names of creams in one of the tables).

While you're applying the cream, you may also want to consider something called stretching exercises. See link 2 for good and detailed instructions on what to do. Generally when combined with the creams, your foreskin should loosen much quicker than a month. These exercises should be done for a few minutes each day for a few weeks in combination with the cream you're using. It's generally best to do the exercises right after a shower/bath when the skin's most flexible, then apply the cream on right after.

If this "combination treatment" doesn't work after a month, it might be worth considering surgical intervention. This does not mean a circumcision, as there are still other options. There are a couple operations that are cheaper, less painful, remove little/no foreskin, and have a quicker recovery time (link 3).

In any case, the combination of the cream and the stretching exercises is almost guaranteed to work. Any surgery should be considered as a last resort (and it's rarely necessary). See the remaining links for more info and good luck with whatever you try.

The cream can sometimes take over a month. And it sounds like it's working slowly. Another thing to consider is using another cream that's almost always effective. I'll post what I posted before:

Some may say that circumcision will fix it, but circumcision's risks include reduction in sensitivity and pleasure, and making masturbation more difficult according to studies (including a few new ones from a few months ago). Oddly enough that's how it was promoted in the USA since masturbation was bad, haha. There's a reason why the USA is the last remaining advanced nation still doing it, and even so, it's getting a lot less popular (it's now as low as 14% in some states). Save that as a last resort, as you're doing. That's only one of the few risks, there's more listed here, in addition to the studies and statistics:

I was the same when I was younger, and now it slides fine with no problems whatsoever. Just pull back your foreskin when you shower the most you can without forcing it, and rub the head. That should encourage it to separate from the head. This is probably all you have to do, since this is common especially with teens. You just haven't 'used' it enough, as in masturbation and washing it. The same goes for sensitivity; the more your rub it the less sensitive it'll get (start using water when you shower then rub a little more each day).

And if its rather tight, you can get a cream that works in almost 95% of cases. It's 0.05% betamethasone or betamethasone dipropionate. And unlike circumcision it is very cheap ($12 in the USA), painless, and you don't risk decreasing sensitivity/pleasure and making masturbation more difficult.

Try that cream. It works. Doctors often just mention circumcision since its a surgery that brings a lot of money to them, especially in the USA.

If you have questions, e-mail me from my profile since I've gone through this. I'll be happy to answer any questions.

Don't get circumsized or your will regret it. A friend of mine said he thought he was unusual in gym class because he was not circumsized. He decided at 18 to do it. He said he lost all of his sensation and was very depressed and still is about his decision. He told me before he could shower and ejaculate with just the water when he pulled the skin back. Now he says it takes him forever to ejaculate and the head of his penis is rough and insensitive. Don't do it. Exercise the skin by pulling it on a regular basis. While watching a movie or anything that distracts you. If you let a doctor remove the most sensitive part of your manhood you will wish you had not.

Heres some advice. Why don't you stretch it?
Just put both index fingers into the opening and stretch it everyday for a few minutes.Be sure not to hurt yourself
It really works but it does take time.Stretch it and use the cream.
When you pull the skin back when erect, don;t rush it.I had the same problem but my problem was that the tip of the foreskin was really tight.

It helped for me and i hope it helps you
