I am sure like many, the thought crosses the mind that it hasn't been long enough when a "best friend" sadly is neither the best or a friend due to issues. That is why I try to never measure this by time.

13 years and we met at primary school when we were 5 but became friends at 8. We went to same high school and are still best mates now at 21 years old!

I met my best friend when we were in 4th grade and now we are 23. After high school we even went to the same college together, but in college she met a guy from Sweden, married him, and moved to Sweden...I miss her so much, but thank god they are movin back to the US next year!

I think 13 years. We met in the 4th grade. She moved to another state in the 6th but we're still best friends. Just goes to show no matter how far away, you can still remain close

I dont have a best friend. I wish I did though! I have lots of really close friends though, I met them all in year 4 at primary school!!
