You need a firmware update it looks like!

Go the laptop manufacturer’s site and see if there is a driver update for your DVD driver?

also

use this codec pack
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Nimo_Codec_Pack.htm

It should fix your problem

Could just be that your hard drive is about to packup this is a common fault and diagnosis for laptops get all your data backed up before it does then get another hard drive quick.

Have you installed any new progams recently? If so try uninstalling them to see if it makes a difference. Anti-virus programs can slow down your computer sometimes too.

Buy a new one - best option as everything has a shelf life. Also back up your data onto an external hard disk asap

its just like MARRIAGE isnt it?
you got too excited to get it... you buy everything from its accesories to your time..... and just then you realise its old, and not in fashion, etc and you could have a better one by just waiting a little longer...

BUY A NEW MODEL
