I like neighbors that aren't too loud too often. I like to hear a little noise though.
If they're TOO quiet, it makes me feel uncomfortable. I feel like they might be loners and aren't very friendly.
Neighbors that never make any noise at all, make me a little nervous when I see them. Ifeel like they are quiet as to not attract any attention. In a word, unfriendly.

Quiet neighborhoods, and by that i mean no parties or crime. I don't mind a few revving engines because someone is working on them, or kids playing in the streets, family day to day stuff like that suites me just fine.

i wish we had a quiet neighborhood! the kids that live behind us are BEASTS!! theres 2 boys and a girl and they always have tons of friends over. the are always in the backyard on their trampoline or in their pool. the little boys beat eachother up like crazy and the little girls SCREAMS!! ugh..makes me sick..i hate noise also
