Not only the names of sect but also breed e.g Dogs (Poodle, Dalmation, Alsation), Cats (Persian, Tiger, Lion), Snake (Rattle snake, Anaconda, Cobra).
Different types of Fish, Reptiles and also historical animals like Rex. How did all the living animals got their names? who kept them?

Thats kinda hard I know there is a better answer than this but...it all goes back to religion and what you believe. for example christians believe Adam named all the animals.

If you read the Bible, the first chapter says that God asked Adam and Eve to name and take of the animals. If you don't want to read the Bible, then you don't have to. The chapter is called Genesis

Adam named them. You can read that literally or allegorically. Of course, Adam wasn't around when modern breeds were developed, so one of his descendents had to name them, usually by function or region.

maybe it's an english translation of their latin scientific names. o_o

then they documented the scientific names on some book or something and passed it on to the next generation of zoologists.
