Here's another site that can be of help: http://www.girlshealth.gov

In answer to the question about the counting of the cycle, the first day of the new cycle starts with the first day of the actual period.

Another site where you may find additonal info is at http://www.WebMD.com in the Women's Health section.

here is a nice website that your daughter can look at herself about puberty and how to deal with it. It is a good idea that you look at it first a like plan it how how you want to show her the website then go a over a couple of thing on the website. (but befor the website go over the basics enlarging nipples, bras, armpit hair, shaving, pubic hair, zits, make up ,boys, sweating more, period)in fifth (sometimes 4th) 6th 7th (all through school they also talk about STDs sex and all of this puberty stuff)
