I met my lady on the very first day of our freshman year in high school. We were married the day after graduation four years later. I sincerely felt, at the time, that I was marrying the "perfect woman", bright, beautiful with a great personality. I was crazy in love. I still feel exactly the same way now, only I love her more that I did then. Of course, it's only been forty five years so maybe something will change. We'll see.

We met on a bus trip.
Both my brother and to-be husband were in the same club, and my brother invited me to come on the trip, if I was to pay half, as it was the same price for a pair or a single. My husband-to-be and his brother went. He thought I liked his brother, who was cracking jokes the whole way. On a 16 hour drive that got to be a bit much! I liked the quieter brother, even if he didn't realise it at first.
When we got there apparently his brother asked a mutual friend what his chances would be, and was told, if he valued his manhood, not to try. I danced with my husband for most of that evening, and chatted the next day, on the ride home.
When we got back, we went our seperate ways.
He went to his sisters house, and told her that he had just met the woman he was going to marry! It took him a year to convince me though.
Funny thing was, several years later, I found out that he was supposed to be on the trip with another woman, but they broke up before he went.

We met in high school, it was one of those moments, when your senses are tingling and you anticipate an event to happen. She walked into the room and we immediately made eye contact, sort of a nervous glance away, can't stop looking, love at first sight. At the moment I wanted to concentrate on my school work and graduating early, but I noticed a coincidence, she was everywhere I was having lunch at. Eventually one of her friends summoned the courage to let me know what she thought about me, then we just clicked. Exchanged numbers, talked until the waning dark gave way to morning, and I learned to trust someone for the first time ever. This trust gave way to love another feeling I never expected to guide me towards my soulmate.

Thru a friend in the early 80's. We was set up as blind dates at a party.
Only I didn't care for him, cause he had to much to drink.
So I started talking to other friends at the party and my blind date, got very upset and jumped on the back of the guy I was talking to, they was friends as well. Not much of a fight actually. So my blind date went to sit down, and I looked over at him and felt sorry for him. So I went to sit with him. He asked me if I wanted to go into the other room with him to talk.
I said NO. But he convinced me, it was to talk. I asked one of his friends if I went in there with him, if he would try anything. He said no. So I went in the room, to find my Blind Date, was taking off his pants. UGH! I turned around and walked out, only to have my date, follow me out, with his jeans around his ankles.
I didn't see him for about 2 weeks. When I did see him, he was sober and I found him very attractive and sweet.
We have been married for 25 years now. :-)
BTW- He told me he was only taking off his jeans to get in bed, to sleep. Knowing him now, he was telling the truth.
Proves what to much booze can do to you. ha
