Some people derive fun outt of it as making jokes but it's no laugh matter, I was there in State prison for cociane possession only and was from a better family and didn't wanted to mix with some other inmates who were in for serious crimes like murder, rape. They treid a lot of times to assault me and the warden and the PC counselor looked away. I had tried to make complaints but they "just don't care" when I asked them to replace my cell.
It only took a riot for them to consider my plea - I was up to my defense and used everything, broken glass, nails, my teeth and some of them inmates were HIV-infected.
1. These inmates succed in bribing the PC warden to smuggle needles and drugs into cells.
2. Any lonely, self-dignified person is an automatic victim.
I wish they transfered me to a County jail where we get solitary confinemnet.
Why can't they change the situation in state prisons? Though I have forgotten my past; thousands other innocent guys are locked up there

I am very sorry to hear about what happen to you especially as you were put in prison just for having drugs on you. its very sad to hear the what goes on behind bars. why don't you start a campaign or write articles about what happen to you and other people. things may not change but young offenders whom read your article may think again about breaking the law if they know what goes on. start making these things public and let the people know what goes go and expose the prison wardens how bad they are. good luck in the future.

The criminal justice system is as flawed as the rest of the government. There are to many people accepting bribes and looking the other way in our White House to even begin to think about our jail system. IF our government wasn't so busy selling our jobs to other countries we would probably have enough money to fix the prisons. But I think nobody wants to do anything about it.

It is bad but I guess when your in prison society views you as being at the bottom of the pile and that, as a whole, they have better things to worry about.
I guess in a nutshell, stay out of prison and then you won't be in that situation

Rapes must not be tolerated in the prisons because the inmates must be abused because they are people with rights. Violators must be tried in court so that they will be inmates.

yo, check it out. You screwed up, and most everyone in prison screwed up. Nobody really cares what happens. Its not hard to understand that messing up can have more serious consequences than youd ever immagine. "cocaine possession only" musta been a hell of a lot of it to go to prison. I hate the stuff, wish youda been raped. I love to hear that the legal system isnt protecting inmates. Isnt that charma? LMFAO. They want to break the law, but they dont want it to happen to them. Well check it out, now they are with other law breakers and there isnt much law. Serves them right. No ****, there are consequences for breaking the law, you turn your back on the law and its going to do the same to you. Suck it up.

I'm sorry but I'm with Kevin C, just the attitude that you were in there 'just for drugs' says it all, I've got three kids, any of whom could be killed 'just by drugs'. I'm sorry but 'just drugs' are as bad as 'just rape'. It's all out of order and the rapists/dealers should be treated in the same way.

They don't allow it mate. That's why it's called rape. The people who "allow" this are just as guilty as the rapist
