for your wrists - wear a wristband or a lot of bangles/bracelets
for your hand - wear fingerless gloves

or, for both, wear armwarmers - quite popular in fashion atm.

if you must cut (PLEASE stop soon before you get addicted and scarred - email me for alternatives) then cut somewhere that's not so obvious - i cut my shoulder or high up on my arm, or on my sides/stomach. other people cut their feet and legs. this way the cut can be easily hidden. but bear in mind, if you don't stop soon you will get scars, which you will have to hide for the rest of your life.

Please try to stop - get help from a doctor, councellor or psychiatrist. speak to someone - professionals, friends, family or even email me if you want, as i know what it's like. but you must get help, before it's too late. seriously, if you can, try to talk to your parents about it, so that they can get you help and support you.

Here if you wanna talk.
Stay strong, stay safe.

You say you plan to stop - well, don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today, is an old saying and is very true. You know you should stop, but you've got to do so now, because tomorrow never comes. Own up to your parents, that will be the biggest hurdle, and you will probably find them more understanding and supportive than you would have thought. You need help and they will support you in seeing first your doctor and then receiving appropriate advice and treatment from an appropriate expert.

You gotta tell them. Parents are usually shocked and concerned, not angry and pissed off.

What happens when you cut too deep? What happens if it gets infected and you get one of those flesh eating bacteria viruses that are more and more common? What if you have to then have your hand amputated? Talk about stress!

You need to solve the problems not treat the symptoms. There is never a right time to do anything in life. You keep waitin for that day and I promise you it will never come. There will always be more stress and more things to deal with.

All any parent wants is for their kids to be happy and okay. If you're not, you need to let them know so you can get some help. To recommend that you do anything other than tell the truth and get help would be immoral and unethical.

I'm especially concerned about you because that's a very high number you have there. :(

Plan to stop...being when? Cutting is never a good idea. You should find another way to relieve stress. Write it all down. Find an empty field and scream your heart out. Punch a pillow. Find someone who'll listen and tell them what's bugging you.

Cuts scar and they may take years to fade away, if ever. You don't want to look back on them ten years from now.

Make a maze and get a fog device. on the top (or in some unspecified time interior the destiny) get some good hiding activities and bounce out to scare human beings, spraying them with stupid string or only scaring the hell out of them. those are serious factors. faux blood is cool too. OH AND A CHAINSAW IS SO humorous. only do away with the chain...its tremendous frightening

You need to go ahead and tell your parents. They should be mad at you...they may be a little shocked and react badly at first, but I'm sure they would rather help you than be mad at your because you have a problem. Telling your parents would be best...just because you have plans to stop doesn't mean they usually happen.

You need to see a therapist. Cutting is a symptom of a psychological issue that could develop into something worse.

Hey, you! Get yourself some help to stop the cutting, not to cover it once it's done! Seriously!
